    Re: DS9 S6: Resurrection

Having this movie drop during the Dominion War, it occurs to me how cool it could have been if the Dominion had allied themselves with the mirror universe, and the Federation and her allies would have had a heckuva fight on their hands.

And what if the mirror universe Dominion had come in on the side of the Federation?

The actress has a voice disorder called spasmodic dysphonia that makes her talk that way. It's why she left acting.

    Re: DS9 S2: The Circle

It's been briefly mentioned a couple of times, but the scene where everyone comes to say goodbye was fun. It felt like it could have been a scene in some sort of ensemble stage production. It made me wish they would do some sort of bottle episode in Kira's apartment at some point, just for the heck of it.

Re: DS9 S1: If Wishes Were Horses

Wow. These last few episodes got really negative reviews from folks, when they were what they were - first season Trek, which is typically bad.

That said, none of these are so incredibly bad (except for the Bashir-possessed-by-bad-guy episode), and this one is also not so bad. It's not the best Trek, but it's not bad first season Trek.

    Re: DS9 S1: Vortex

It's a little thing, but I really enjoyed Quark using his ears to block the Miradorn twin from seeing the results of his security hack.

A nice little touch from the director.

Re: MAND S3: Chapter 24: The Return

I was happy with this ending. That's pretty much all I have to say.

That, and did they really name an entire episode "Spies" because of one spy that we saw at the opening? Misdirect? Anyway, I'm glad the suspects turned out to be innocent.

Re: MAND S3: Chapter 23: The Spies

I really enjoyed this one, especially after last week's stunt-casting fiasco. In fact, I wish this had been the well we'd been drinking out of all season - would have felt like a more natural extension of S2. It's a pity they're only going for one more episode and then we have to wait who knows how long. At least Ashoka looks promising!

Re: MAND S3: Chapter 22: Guns for Hire

Mando is still the one show that my family loves to watch together, so I'm not joining the people who are disappointed. Could the show be better? Yes. Is it still fun to watch? Yes.

That said, they need to stop STOP STOP with the bringing in "special guest stars". I gave Tim Meadows a pass last week because it was a one off. Then, this week we get Jack Black, Lizzo, and Christopher Lloyd?

No no no no no no no no no

This is what Star Wars and The Mandalorian don't need to become... a place for friends of the filmmakers to make special appearances. Daniel Craig in TFA was okay, because we didn't see his face. Meadows, Black, Lizzo, and Lloyd making cameos just brings us out of the fantasy of Star Wars.

If they're not a main or recurring character, let them be played by unknowns. Star Wars should not be the Love Boat of the 2020's.

    I have spoken.
