    Re: TOS S1: Arena

This is the kind of Sci-Fi my childhood was built upon. I embraced it. Sure, many people poke fun at this episode, and so many "Monday morning quarterbacks" like to nit-pick the production quality and script, but Star Trek was something new back when this came out and I found this episode to be a wonderful adventure. I still do!

    Re: ENT S4: Terra Prime

Only a few Trek episodes ever made me cry. This was one. Although there were errors with some continuities, it was nice to have some time back at & around Earth. The Terra Prime movement is not so far from some current-day thinking. Other reviews here are not as kind, but I thought this was a fine Star Trek two-parter, and I enjoyed it very much. Like others have mentioned, this was a good ending for the series.

I don't know why Jammer is so harsh in his review. I just watched this three-parter for the first time and I really enjoyed it. Every show does not have to be perfect "hard Sci-Fi" (like, say 2001). I found several parts of this story very touching and I enjoyed it. Why all the sour grapes? I'm a Star Trek fan from the very start and this was good Trek in my opinion.

    Re: ENT S4: The Forge

I just watched this episode for the first time since it initially ran. It is an excellent installment. The historical tie-ins were very well done. Jammer is often harsh on stories I found enjoyable - and this almost led me to no longer read these reviews. Deserved credit was given here. I am a long time fan of the entire Star Trek franchise, and I think Enterprise (and Captain Archer) get a bad rap. For me, this episode was a great episode, and stands as one of the reasons I rate Enterprise as one of the top three series. I wish it had continued.
