That ending. It was drastic. Not in the strained, juvenile, dark'n'gritty Discovery manner, but really drastic.

Eh, Star Trek for kids. That's what Discovery is. We now have our own Clone Wars series. Or GotG (not GoT).

But visuals are outstanding.

Not really comedy (sitcom) show. More like lightest Voyager episodes ("Message in a Bottle" etc.), with really visually inspiring vision of the 25th century.

I thought Seasons 3 and 4 of Fringe were fantastic. Yes, the whole love story trope is tired and trite, but the acting, the subtle differences between the two universes, and the overall storyline was fantastic. I'd put those two seasons up against the best of any SciFi show out there.
