Reviews of The Next Generation were written retrospectively from 2005-2013. Initially envisioned as a short project, the review format was shorter in the early seasons, but got somewhat longer as the project went on. Note: All reviews contain spoilers.

10/12/1992. Relics — The crew rescues Scotty, chief engineer of the original Enterprise, who has been suspended in time on board a crashed ship for 75 years.
10/19/1992. Schisms — When several members of the crew begin experiencing unexplained symptoms, the clues reveal that they may have been unwittingly abducted to an alien realm.
10/26/1992. True Q — A young woman arrives on the Enterprise and discovers that she has new abilities emerging that may be the power of the Q.
11/2/1992. Rascals — Picard and three other members of the crew are transformed into children, after which they must foil a plot by a band of Ferengi to take over the ship.
11/9/1992. A Fistful of Datas — Worf, Troi, and Alexander go into an Old West holodeck program that begins to malfunction, transforming holodeck characters into versions of Data.
11/16/1992.The Quality of Life — Data discovers that a set of robotic tools might be showing the signs of evolving into a form of intelligent life.
12/14/1992. Chain of Command, Part I — Picard is relieved of command and ordered to lead a secret mission to investigate a Cardassian facility suspected of building a doomsday weapon. Meanwhile, the Enterprise crew must adjust to life under a new, no-nonsense captain.
12/21/1992. Chain of Command, Part II — While the Enterprise engages in dangerous negotiations, Picard is held captive by the Cardassians and tortured for information.
1/25/1993. Ship in a Bottle — Professor Moriarity, a self-aware holodeck character, demands that Picard find a way to free him from the confines of the holodeck so he can exist in the real world.
2/1/1993. Aquiel — Geordi becomes involved with a woman suspected of killing a fellow officer aboard a remote, isolated space station.
2/8/1993. Face of the Enemy — Troi wakes up on a Romulan ship after being transformed into an undercover Romulan intelligence operative and must engage in a covert mission.
2/15/1993. Tapestry — As Picard lies dying on the operating table, he suddenly finds himself face to face with Q, who offers him the opportunity to go back in time and correct the mistakes of his youth.
2/22/1993. Birthright, Part I — An alien approaches Worf on Deep Space Nine and claims his father is still alive in a Romulan internment camp. Meanwhile, an experiment knocks Data unconscious, during which he has a mysterious vision of his creator, Doctor Soong.
3/1/1993. Birthright, Part II — Worf finds himself at odds with the Romulan leader of a decades-old prison camp that was transformed into a community where Klingons and Romulans now live in peace.
3/29/1993. Starship Mine — Picard becomes the Enterprise's last line of defense against a group of criminals attempting to steal a dangerous substance from the warp core.
4/5/1993. Lessons — Picard finds himself falling for a member of the crew, putting him in a potentially awkward place between his personal life and his professional duties.
4/26/1993. The Chase — Picard is pulled into an archaeological quest that draws the competing attention of the Klingons, Romulans, and Cardassians, and which hints at a profound discovery.
5/3/1993. Frame of Mind — Riker descends into a nightmare where he cannot distinguish reality from delusion when he begins shifting between two lives: one aboard the Enterprise and another inside an alien mental ward.
5/10/1993. Suspicions — Crusher assembles a panel of alien scientists to investigate a theoretical new technology but then finds herself embroiled in a series of incidents including possible murder.
5/17/1993. Rightful Heir — Worf goes on a spiritual retreat where he witnesses the apparent resurrection of the renowned Klingon warrior Kahless — which could have profound or devastating consequences for the Klingon Empire.
5/24/1993. Second Chances — Riker rescues a cloned version of himself that was created in a freak transporter incident eight years earlier and has been stranded ever since — and who now wants to resume life from where it was interrupted.
6/14/1993. Timescape — When returning from a conference, Picard, Data, Geordi, and Troi rendezvous with the Enterprise to find it frozen in time amid a shattering of the space-time continuum into regions where time moves at variable rates.
6/21/1993. Descent, Part I — The Enterprise crew encounters the Borg, whose behavior has radically and inexplicably changed from drones in a collective to violent individuals.
