Re: VOY S4: Demon

Just for the record, 500 K is not THAT hot. That's about twice the boiling point of water. There are plenty of hotter places here on EARTH (like volcanos, for example).

For a "Demon" class planet, this was practically frigid. Venus is much, much hotter on the surface.

Re: BSG S2: Epiphanies

Every bomb is essentially a big "push". The limiting factor in space would be oxygen to promote combustion. While I'm not sure if there exists the necessary quantities of oxygen onboard a space ship (life support and what not) there's probably enough to at least rupture the hull significantly...which is really all you'd hope to accomplish.

As far as the shockwave...since there's very little matter (apart from the ship of course) there's no way for a shockwave to propagate. However, the nuclear reaction would radiate a lot of heat, probably melting any metallic objects (read: space ships) nearby.

Re: BSG S3: Collaborators

Maybe she wanted to spare his life, but felt he deserved to suffer the loss of his dignity too. I don't know, just my $0.02

Re: BSG S3: Crossroads, Part 2

Better yet, what if the 5th Cylon was a random, unimportant person in the story? Say, one of the guards who was guarding the Six on Galactica?

Now THAT would be an unexpected plot twist.

Re: BSG S3: Torn

<nitpick>
It wasn't Adama's sidearm, but Kara's in the rec room scene, which is by the way also one of my favorites. Any time Adama gets angry = pretty good television. (I'm thinking back to when he hears of Adm. Cain's desire to execute two of his men.

Re: BSG S3: Collaborators

I think one thing you didn't mention was that during the scene of Gaeta's execution, it was Starbuck who felt remorse. Maybe I saw it wrong, but it seemed like she was begging him to beg for his life, because she wanted to believe what he said about his helping the resistance.
