Re: DS9 S2: The Wire

Ever since TNG I didnt like the Cardassians. They seemed very bland alien of the week bent on evil blah blah blah. Even most of the epsoides of the bajorian resistance fighting the Cardassians I always found bland. However Garrek & Tain have changed my mind on the while race. Hell even Du kut gets very interesting. If there was a series of just the politics of Cardassia id give it a shot. They really fleshed it out & the Obsidian Order came across as both brutal & gentle. If that makes sense. I think the look of race always made me think of them as clunky & chuncky. But DS9 really made me appreciate the characters. Good stuff.

Re: DS9 S2: Tribunal

As soon as I saw the actor playing Korvat I knew id love this one. Just the thought by the writers & casting to use him in this role was awesome. Blind reverence for the state...it soooo goes back to TTZ epsoide he was in. I always enjoyed that one so seeing him in it made me jump out of my seat @ the irony of it. Get epsoide all around.

Re: DS9 S1: Emissary

All in all a good start. My only issue was toward the end when Sisko turned around & told Picard he was wrong & wanted to stay in the post. Its like @ the start it was some backwater low posting. But now that the wormhole has been found & it's suddenly important he wants it. On top of that the whole Wolf 359 stuff he laid on Picard near the start. I'm curious why Picard didn't speak to this when Sisko did an about face. Id think it would go this way..."So Mr Sisko..you wanted nothing to do with this post but now that it's important you seem to have changed your mind. May I ask why?"
