Re: DS9 S5: Nor the Battle to the Strong

Alex I like that you mentioned the Quark comment about pregnancy being a rental. Lol

The problem with this episode is Jake. Now I know why they didn't send him to starfleet. The kid can't act and he comes off as such a coward in this episode. He thinks everything is a story and then is surprised when things get real. I absolutely love Bashir's expression at the end when he is reading jakes story. You would think the writers would make him react like Sisko did all proud of jake. But Bashir looks up from the pad, thinks about it and realizes jake left him there to die and his expression says WTF?? Lol. Watch that last scene again if you don't know what I'm talking about

Re: DS9 S5: Apocalypse Rising

Yes, sending Worf was the biggest error of the episode. He's a famous Klingon. He's known as the starfleet klingon and the klingon who helped install Gowron as chancellor. Sometimes he had been considered a traitor and other times he was considered an honorable Klingon but he would have been noticed by everyone no matter how much blood wine they had.

I do like that Odo didn't spend too much time mourning his loss. It reminds me of when Troi lost her powers. She went insane the whole episode. Odo kept it together and got back to work pretty quick.

Avery Brooks has a problem overacting. Watch the secede when he's talking to Martok and he says "You think we're right don't you? You think gowrons a changeling TOO". Lol. I'm not sure why the directors didn't tell him stop acting like that

Re: DS9 S2: Necessary Evil

So Dukat was the reason Odo got into security. That's interesting. Dukat was the person who saw in Odo his ability to handle investigations. Can someone tell me what Odo was doing on the station before he helped dukat in this episode? He just a decided to leave bajor and live on ds9 which was basically a prison camp??

At the end Kira says she's tried to tell Odo. I call BS. She could have told him multiple times in the episode but didn't.

Rom says he would never kill quark but he just tried to throw quark out an airlock in the Nagus episode. And for some reason Odo never charged rom with attempted murder.

Other than these nitpicks this was a good episode.

Re: DS9 S4: Homefront

How many times does Odo say "My People" in this two parter. he supposedly rejected his people. I just find it odd that he would continually call the dominion his people when they are hostile to the alpha quadrant and earth. I just noticed that he says that more in these two episodes than he does in the rest of the series. Most of the time he refers to them as shapeshifters or even changelings. I wonder what the writers wanted to us to get from that.
