Re: DSC S2: Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 1

@Alan Roi

I want to self combust every time I see Burnham cry. Which is like every episode.

@Alan Roi

You’re confusing complex with nonsensical (all over the place). I’ve read Bleak House by Dickens before. I can Follow complicated plots just fine. Do you work for CBS?

@Alan Roi

? What

Post 1950-sci fi storytelling? What are you talking about? The show is a convoluted mess and your obvious attachment to it is odd.

Re: DSC S2: Perpetual Infinity

Does anyone also dislike how Star Trek, AGAIN, isn’t really Discovering anything outside its sphere?? It’s all self-contained. Besides for the great episode where we went to Saru’s homeworld, the universe seems so small. I thought the Red Angel would be an alien...kinda let down.

What’s the point of show? They aren’t discovering anything “out there.”

Re: DSC S2: Perpetual Infinity

@MidshipmanNorris

Where have you been my whole life??

I've been saying this from the beginning that Burnham's acting is AWFUL. I'm still kinda giving her the benefit of the doubt and saying it's maybe the writing...but she's the only one that isn't doing it for me...so I think it's partly her. Her reactions don't make any sense to me, she has zero range...crying/whispering, and normal. No one really agrees with me though, which is confusing to me. Her acting is just off to me. I actually rewound the part where she was crying to her mom and walked forward a little bit towards her...I was like "wtf is that?"

Her acting choices don't make sense to me.

Re: DSC S2: The Red Angel

@Alan Roi

These real “time” crystals have nothing to do with time travel. And I assume the time crystals in this last episode aren’t the same things that you’re talking about.

Re: DSC S2: The Red Angel

@Johh Harmon

I laughed out loud at your time crystal comment. Agreed. Lots of stupid stuff going on in this episode. DSC is really weird....it’s like, it has really awesome ideas and moments, mixed with just awful ideas and moments. I’ve never seen anything like it before. Like, who thought Georgio’s outfit was a good idea?

Re: DSC S2: If Memory Serves

I feel like everyone who liked this episode has just lowered the bar so low, they don’t know what a good Trek episode is anymore.

This whole episode was a waste of time. Everything revealed were things we all already knew. The red angel is a time traveler. It’s probably MB anyway. Don’t ask why. And why did MB have the intelligence as like 9 year old to know she should leave her home because of some bs politicial faction? Is she just great at everything she does all the time?

I also dont even buy that she cares for Spock. They’re relationship is completely unbelievable.
Saru letting that fight continue. Was ridiculous also.
