Re: ENT S2: Carbon Creek

This was a very good episode in my view. I'm glad others agree with me.

Re: TOS S2: Friday's Child

I understand many of the critical comments made here, but I enjoyed this episode very much. There are some segments which are truly classic, especially involving Bones and Scotty. 'A few involving Spock, too.

Re: DSC S2: Through the Valley of Shadows

A very good episode. It made me glad I hadn't given up on this series, as I almost did. Great to see that the Stamets/Culber stuff was kept to a minimum and that there was no "Tilly" irritation. Captain Pike has turned out very new nicely, and, to me, has been the high point of this show.

Re: TOS S1: Arena

Despite the shortfalls, I think this was a very good episode. I remember watching as a kid, and I liked it once again today!

Re: TOS S1: Operation--Annihilate!

This was an excellent episode, more like true science-ficton than many of the episodes in later seasons and shows. I especially liked the ending dialogue among Kirk, Bones and Spock! I give a 3 1/2 star rating.

Re: DSC S1: Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad

I saw this installment tonight. Despite Jammer's lengthy love-affair review, this was likely the worst episode of any Star Trek series I have ever seen. Right up there with "Spock's Brain" "Mudd's Women" and some of the Wesley silliness. It was terrible - even though so many reviewers here apparently loved the badness. It was nothing more than a dopey, attempted rip- off of a Star Gate classic.

I liked this episode. That's it.
