Re: DSC S2: If Memory Serves

Good review, however, gay people fall out of love and have physical fights just the same as anyone else. It doesn't mean they're turning straight when they do.

Re: DSC S1: What's Past Is Prologue

If I remember right, didnt TNG try to avoid any references to TOS in the early seasons, to make it's own mark and avoid being seen to ride on the success of the original crew (besides McCoy in Encounter at Farpoint and the The Naked Now)?

Maybe in the next season the writers will be more secure in the series' uniqueness that they'll begin to connect more with the wider Trek universe...?

Re: TNG S6: Chain of Command, Part I

As always there are 2 sides.
Jellicoe was blunt but efficient and very smart. He simply came on too strong at first for the Ent crew. Judging someone as a first officer after meeting him only 15 minutes ago is a little hasty.A crew will follow a new boss anywhere he goes; thats their job. But having only 24 hours to adjust to a new chief just isnt enough..
Jellicoe did a great job taking command..
but if he d stayed many of the crew would have left. I still love the scene when Riker finally tells him off!
