Re: TNG S7: Eye of the Beholder
Troi doesn't do anything important normally? Providing/directing mental healthcare for 1500 people doesn't count?
Always cracks me up how even today people view psychiatry or counseling to be a "waste of time" or "pointless."
Hopefully you never need our services but if you ever do, we will be there anyway :)

Hi Eric S. I first watched Voyager on netflix also. Have you researched that "It's a Wrap!" auction? I have seen many obscure props pass through there
Don't want to violate any policies so I won't post link here. Simply google. Good luck!

Ahh "dark and edgy" Data. I can see this being effective at the time of airing. Sadly it has aged very poorly. It's important to remember this when making a contemporary review.

Re: TNG S7: Sub Rosa
The sex scenes are actually pretty graphic for being a ghost. The convulsing and moaning is very explicit. Especially that "When Harry Met Sally" style orgasm scene....
Watching with my mom is very awkward....

Re: TOS S3: The Savage Curtain
Lots of potential here. Would have benefited from some good rewriting though

Watching this AGAIN and it is just GARBAGE. Wears very thin after repeat viewing

Re: VOY S7: Natural Law
Nothing sums up voyager more than this review. There is so little character development that this episode could have been in season 4. You could insert this into s4 and show it to a first time viewer and I would bet money they wouldn't notice a goddamn thing.

Re: VOY S6: Live Fast and Prosper
Little tough on this episode eh? It's a 3/4 for me for sure. The change of focus onto this "imposter janeway" captures a performance i really enjoy. For a "guest actor of the week," episode, this is as good as Voyager gets for me.

Re: TNG S4: Night Terrors
Lousy pacing in a lousy episode. Only reason I liked this episode were the gratuitous yet completely unflattering butt shots of Deanna. I mean, you could see straight up to Tonsilville if you follow.

Dr. Poodle Crusher doesnt have the acting ability for this show. She comes off as stupid and shrill

Re: TNG S3: Transfigurations
A month? I hate when time passes without any visual or script cues to the audience. We just have to take their word for it and it feels cheap. Riker does comment to Geordi he has improved in the last month, so it's not completely ignored but they could have at least changed Bevs hair or given the alien a cool beard. Something to indicate passage of time!!!! This is not a temporal rift!!

Re: TNG S3: The Offspring
Why the hell is it any business of Starfleet to remove a child from their parent? If Geordi had a kid would Starfleet take them away because he's blind? B.S. amazing how dystopian the Federation is

Re: TNG S2: The Emissary
"Mr Worf I ORDER you to relax!!!'
After Picard ordered Worf to spend time with someone he is clearly uncomfortable with.
Picard and Riker seem like bullies here, as if they're trying to think of ways to tweak and prod Worf because they're bored. Lame

Re: TNG S2: Manhunt
Very weird episode. You can tell they ran out of money from Q Who. Reusing sets constantly and storylines that require absolutely no special effects other than one washed up rock star in a costume they probably had since TOS but always thought it was too stupid looking to use

Re: TNG S2: Unnatural Selection
Another rewatch with my mother. Still deeply hating Pulaski but i noticed a few other things. The way Worf freaks out screaming "it's a trick!" Was hilarious. Classic early Worf being a comically poor "warrior" lmao

Re: TNG S2: The Schizoid Man
What is the point of this episode? Graves did not seem at ALL like "the most brilliant scientific mind in 1000 years" as the episode seems to revere him. He just seems like a pathetically horny old man. His actions are wrong, his arguements are wrong. Other than a horny old man plotting his sexual conquests in a "new and improved" body and Spiner doing his "wacky" nasal voice we have basically nothing. One of the most intellectually threadbare episodes in all of Trek. Even that abominable animated crap Trek series had better plots.

Re: DS9 S3: Through the Looking Glass
Personally i loved the mean-spirited over acting of this episode. It was very comic book and once I set my expectations, I enjoyed this episode.
That's not to say it's unreasonable to hate it. Very valid to say its overaccted garbage. Maybe, but at least it is genuine fun for viewers like me.

I too was highly disturbed by the Facial Tic Transfer Wand as it just comes completely out of nowhere with absolutely zero explanation

Re: DS9 S6: The Reckoning
This episode had some issues and could have benefited from some better editing. That said, I particularly enjoyed the father/son emotional type scene at the end. Good father son scenes are rare and I feel like Cirroc and Brooks had great on screen chemistry.

Re: TNG S1: The Last Outpost
Had to watch this with my mom and I gotta say, it was humiliating. I kept expecting (yet am so glad they didnt) them to start power-thrusting at Yar near the end. Also that old lady with the halberd at the end is just so poorly done. No sense of excitement, no drama, just a strange, male pattern baldness stricken "guardian" swinging a stick around and then sped up in post. Macabre

The don't look exactly like Bajorans....
They have silver spray paint on the tops of their lil nose ridges.

Re: TOS S1: Court Martial
Love how the heart beat is also used as tense music. That scene was very well done. Probably the best part of this episode7
