Re: VOY S7: Flesh and Blood

Once again it was established in the first episode they appeared that the Hirogen were at least spread out all the way to the Beta quadrant. And they all can stay in contact via their communications network. So obviously they shared the holodeck technology that way.

Re: VOY S6: Life Line

Why does Troi say they're nearly 7 light years away like that's very far?

Re: VOY S6: Tsunkatse

Yeah the Hirogen network of communication satellites extended all the way to the Beta Quadrant, so it's plausible to have ships nearby.

Re: VOY S6: Survival Instinct

Once again ridiculous. We have a sample size of 4 Borg, two of them are from the Federation's area of space. Even more ridiculous, one of them is a Bajoran Starfleet officer. Hard to believe there were any Bajorans in Starfleet when she was assimilated but regardless the odds of their being two alpha quadrant races in a group of 4 is highly unlikely. Even ignoring how anyone assimilated at Wolf 359 made it back to the delta quadrant, only a miniscule fraction of a percent of Borg would be from the Federation. This has happened too many times.

Re: VOY S5: The Fight

1.5 stars is ridiculously high. You've rated other episodes lower and this has to be the hardest episode of Trek to sit through.

Re: VOY S5: Dark Frontier

It's possible Starfleet new about the Borg prior to Q Who. Very plausible if you consider the Enterprise episode Regeneration. It was probably just classified and compartmentalized to some part of Starfleet.

The Borg have already been retconned anyway. Originally they didn't assimilate people but later on it was stated they always have.

Re: VOY S5: Infinite Regress

Amazing how all of the personalities are from the Federation's corner of the galaxy.

Re: VOY S5: Timeless

You would think in 15 years, Starfleet would've done something about Voyager being on that planet. Anyone could stumble on it and take the technology, no matter what shape it was in. Certainly some families would want the remains of their loved ones returned.

Re: VOY S5: Once Upon a Time

They might as well killed Samantha Wildman. I'm not even sure we see her again. Everyone else seems to raise Naomi. At least killing the mom would've made the rest of the series make sense.

Just like Alexander, the alien part explains the rapid growth, just like it explains why the pregnancy went on for like a year and a half.

Re: VOY S3: Before and After

As far as Kes quickly growing her hair they've established in Trek episodes that it's possible to stimulate hair follicle growth for just that purpose. Baldness is no doubt cured as well, but Roddenberry didn't think people would care in the 24th century.

Re: VOY S3: Rise

"By the way, I'm not even going to begin on the plausibility of a "300-kilometer pole in the ground extending into space." No comment here at all."

Hasn't modern scientists established that this is completely feasible? They call it a space elevator.

Re: VOY S2: Basics, Part I

Considering they establish that Kazon are nomads it's completely believable to run into them for years. It just doesn't make sense to keep running into Culluh and Seska. I guess this implies they've been following Voyager. Would've been nice if they'd just come out and say that.

Re: VOY S2: Threshold

If/when they make a blu ray release for Voyage, they need to add a scene at the end where Paris wakes up and says "what a crazy dream"

Re: TNG S5: Cause and Effect

Data also has 3 rank pips, but I guess he couldn't see his own. I like that Riker had the right idea and not Data. I hope Riker rubbed it in to Picard and Data.

Re: TNG S5: A Matter of Time

Considering he was from the 22nd Century, I'm surprised the writers of Enterprise didn't make a prequel out of this episode.
