Re: DSC S2: Saints of Imperfection

My only problem with Discovery so far is how unlikable Michael Burnham is. Don't get me wrong, I really like Sonequa Martin-Green, but her character bores me to death, and I still don't think she's redeemed herself for what she did in season one. So far, it's the supporting characters that make this show for me. Lorca, Pike, Saru, Tilly, Stamets, and even Georgiou (despite barely being in the show) are so much more likable and memorable. I hope Michael gets better over the course of this season and the seasons yet to come.

Re: TNG S2: The Emissary

The premise is beyond ridiculous. Does anyone really believe that a captain would wake up after 75 years and have it never occur to him that the political situation would have changed? Klingons are aggressive but not total idiots. The first thing he would have done is contact the empire.

Re: BSG S4: The Plan

Spot on review Jammer. We saw alot of cool effects and a few solid character moments. Sometimes things are better left unexplained. Which makes it all the better they left the Olympic carrier mystery alone.

Your blowin my mind man. I never put those two events together. But I don't think they would start something like that this late in the game would they?

Re: BSG S4: The Oath

Good point on sometimes. I forget that location shoots can be pricey.

Re: BSG S4: The Oath

Season 4.5 starts off with 3 low budget "bottle shows" that due to the strength in writing/acting have been some of the best TV on air. I can't wait to see the money episodes coming up!

24 should have ended on episode 13 season 1. Fox took over the direction of the show after that.

Re: BSG S4: He That Believeth in Me

If you take the dark moments of this show it would turn into what we had with the original series. It wouldn't ring true.

Re: BSG S4: He That Believeth in Me

A couple of random thoughts.

Kara's clean Viper reminds me a little of the story line from the original series episode "War of the Gods 1 & 2". Apollo is seemingly killed only to show up on the ship of light in a stark white uniform. And now that I think of it the final 5 look alot like the angels in that episode as well.

Did anyone get the feeling that the cult might be using Baltar as a donor? Has Baltar been put out to stud and can you imagine a society of his lineage?

Thanks again to Jammer posting the spoilers warning. I watch these episodes 1 week after they air so any info on upcoming episodes is bad.
