Re: DS9 S4: Body Parts

I have to agree that this was probably one of the best Ferengi episodes in the run of the series except maybe Family Business, one of my favorites. The ending was surprisingly good even if it was very Capraesq. I half expected Quark to turn to Rom and say "Look Rom, everybody gave me stuff because I wouldn't kill my self"

I thought your assesment of exiled or neary exiled characters through the season was interesting. I'v watched season 4 several times and never picked up on that. Its a testiment to the writers that they didn't go out of their way to point that out, good subtle story telling. Btw by the end of the season Odo is not just exiled from his people but from his true nature and oh you forgot Worfs brother Kern who was exiled like Odo, from him self.

Re: DS9 S7: Take Me Out to the Holosuite

To get this out of the way right off the bat (no pun intended) the reality of a holodeck going all the way back to TNG has always been suspect so for a long time now I just have a large suspension of disbelief when it comes to this technology but I digress.

To me while this episode isn't a solid dramatic piece its still a solid story that manages to use all of the cast IE an ensemble and thats a good thing because I love all these characters and when they all get together its quite a sight.

Re: DS9 S6: His Way

Maybe I am bit a bias but I think most of DS9 deserves three stars or more but I digress. So this was a ligh weight episode but considering it followed In The Pale Moonlight, it was a pleasent diversion and bringing in James Darren only added to DS9's class act. Btw, I have to agree that when Sisko starts singing along with Odo it felt like such a natural moment that couldn't have easily not been written.
