Re: ENT S3: Proving Ground
Agree! Very fun episode! I was confused by the ending, though--who sent the secret subspace scans? Was it Shran, or the female weapons officer?

Re: ENT S3: Carpenter Street
Cody B, I agree. Loved this episode, and loved Carbon Creek. I also loved Similitude. To me, "North Star" and "Raijin" were two low points. To each their own.
Thank you, Cory, for that bit of trivia. Love Jeffrey Dean Morgan! Glad he stayed with it!
Also, I agree with whoever said T'pol did a good job of not quite fitting in, but Archer looked right at home. It reminded me of Quantum Leap, where he had to quickly adapt to a new time period and place every week. He also looked right at home in the western setting of "North Star." I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Re: ENT S3: North Star
This episode was pointless from beginning to end. Why were they even on the planet? How did they discover it? Why did they decide to interfere? And the shootout. Ugh. Except for a few small moments, like Malcolm shooting T'Pol to get at her abducter. there was nothing interesting about this episode. It was clearly a "lets use some costumes and sets that are lying around" filler type episode. Next!

Re: ENT S3: Extinction
Wow, I have definitely seen way worse episodes than this, mainly on ST:VOY . But I agree that the writing could have been much, much better. I also agree that T'Pol's pajamas are another embarrassing attempt to exploit Jolene Blalock's hot bod. Could they ride down any lower? How does one sleep in those?
Glad to see they have diversified her wardrobe, though. Now, in addition to a gray skintight unitard, she also has a red one and a white one.
In terms of acting, Phlox is clearly the best acted and most interesting character. Mayweather is the worst. I read an interview with the actor who played Mayweather in which he complained that he hadn't been given any backstory for Mayweather. I thought, are you kidding?? That's YOUR JOB! I mean, I'm not an actor but I know this from years of reading and listening to interviews with actors!!

Re: ENT S3: Anomaly
The special effects and action sequences of this episode were surprisingly well done, but I wish Bakula's portrayal of Archer were a little more nuanced. He's either all GeeWhizIsn'tSpaceGreat?! or ANGRY!Archer. There seems to be nothing in between, and I wish the change had been more gradual and not so sudden. That would have made it more believable.
This is a very different show from seasons 1 and 2.

Re: ENT S2: Bounty
So awful. The camera practically laps up T'Pol's body from the ankle to the crown. So disappointing that a woman directed this, but then I guess she's just giving the (male) PTB what they wanted.

Fyi
Tasha isn't dead according to star trek online's latest ep. Sela's father lied to her. She was sent to a prison camp that ended up abandoned along with T'Nae and Castillo

Re: VOY S5: Course: Oblivion
WAAAAH WAAAH WAAAH
and another handful of people complaining like crybabies.
okay first and foremost. It's called a story. For all we know, Between Dark Frontier and Course Oblivion, that could have all been the time of the duplicate stuff. I agree there are some plot holes, but what story doesn't have plot holes. Star Wars Force Awakens says hello.
As for the duplicated ship, B'lanna's Finger got covered just a little bit and the Silver blood duplicated almost the entire finger so it's certainly plausible as someone else pointed out that by the ship submerging in Demon, and at that point is when the blood became conscious and sentient, that when voyager was released and left, another voyager emerged (off screen)
like i said there there are plot holes but what ever.
@Paul Allen yo really need to cool your jets. obviously you're probably some TNG fanboy and that's why you're giving all this hate. WHATEVER.

Re: VOY S5: Latent Image
@Bill T I agree wholeheartedly. all these people are doing is complaining.
not only that. i find it odd that not one person has pointed out the fact that the Doctor's program has degraded once. (the swarm) when the options were to either Reset to factory defaults (basicall) or keep going and they used the EMH's Diagnostic Subroutine program to graft a new HoloMatrix.
So add to that that with this new Holomatrix that the doctor became more human more like the crew, that seeing Kim in this situation and not knowing what to do he would have gone into a loop like that.
It was an okay episode not the best but i did like where this went.
Also i'mjust gonna say this now and i don't give a care what kind of grief i get or if anyone even pays attention to this page or not. But Voyager is way more Interesting than DS9 or TNG could have ever hoped to be. I know just about everyone here probably sucks TNG's ass but whatever Voyager is extremely underrated compared to those other 2 shows.
You're welcome.

Wow all these haters. this is just annoying. no wonder voyager doesn't get the respect it deserves. Yes there's a few boring episodes or whatnot but good grief. oh and yeah by the way this is not DSN's Anniversary.
