Re: Star Trek: Insurrection
Umm... Good stuff, but problematic. Monsieur Picard didn't wring his hands in the past when it came to letting civilisations getting whacked... Then again, maybe he seen the error of his ways... Star trek is of course all about evolution....

A queen bee hive situation.. they had to make the Borg interesting to a general cinema audience- well they done that- so chill yo damn skinny ass....

Re: Star Trek: Generations
Rikers face during the crash scene wuz reminiscent of tarrants in the last episode of Blake's 7... And yes, they clearly indulged bill shit's love of horses- so what? It wuz his last outing, give the old ham a break!

Re: TNG S7: All Good Things...
Don't think I'd seen it since it first aired, and shit! It was as awesome as I had recalled. And that final scene... As Monsieur Picard gazes round the poker table, the look of almost fatherly pride, admiration and love towards his crew mates.... Perfect finale. Too bad they ran the franchise into the ground with bloody Voyager and Enterprise.

Re: TNG S7: Emergence
Och, well as the series winds down, why not let the ship itself become the main character... give it a break- it's hauled it's ass around a lot for seven years, n maybe that wee technoperve Geordie never gave her the good loving she deserved.....

Re: TNG S7: Firstborn
Yo! Riker in command manages to make a decent fist of it.... That was some hot cleavage once again from those Duras harpies. And on the subject of sexual matters, that statue of Woofs is well homoerotic....

Re: TNG S7: Journey's End
Hmm... Watching this on the day brexshit becomes a reality has some dodgy parallels. A "nation" ultimately chooses to break from a trading bloc through stubbornness to probably make life harder than it needs to be... Stereotypes abound with the native Americans, though probably not intentionally. Anyway, Wesley was never so much special- more like special needs... Besides all that, a good ending to the little pricks story arc.

Re: TNG S7: Genesis
Q: are we not men? No, we are devo ! Guilty pleasure's are not a thing- ya either like something or you don't, regardless of who was behind it etc. And as it happens I thought this was a good romp, especially Monsieur Picard's cowardly trip and early on Worf on interstellar overdrive Worfness. And Troi gasping in the tub was a freaky visual. If proto Worf had managed to jump in the bath with her, well, draw yer own disturbing conclusions....

Re: TNG S7: Thine Own Self
Desperately mediocre, considering it was a Ronald Moore script... Using a village as a trope for the human condition is all fine and well, but this kind of premise had already been beaten into the ground in the original series.... And if only it was such a fast tracked piece of piss to get a promotion in real life.... Stick to the psychobabble honey....

Re: TOS S2: Assignment: Earth
Execrable pisspoor backdoor pilot. Christ, imagine if the show had gotten cancelled on that wretched note... Thank fuck that utterly charmless twat Gary seven and that pathetic dizzy bint were mercifully left stillborn in the miserable graveyard of failed pilot shows. Dangleberry should've been ashamed of himself for trying to chance it with that wet fart of a concept.... Oh, and I ain't a cat person which made matters worse...0 stars.

Re: TNG S7: Sub Rosa
I suppose terraforming a planet to appear Scottish, you wouldn't go to all that effort to reproduce a shithole like Cumbernauld. You would be more likely to go for the romanticised Brigadoon version. Oh, and being Scottish myself, I've heard worse accents than that quint guy attempted, but aye it wuz pretty ropey. Overall cheesy and somewhat rapey but certainly more entertaining than bloody farce of nature.

Re: TNG S7: Force of Nature
Damn! That teaser had me on the edge of my seat-with ennui... And special praise must surely go to the herculean proportions of tediously impenetrable techno babble. Oh, and darling- dontcha know that ridged forehead alien of the week is now so terribly passé.... Still beats Voyager or sodding enterprise any day of the week.

Re: TNG S7: Descent, Part II
Woefully underwhelming after part 1s set up- and lores use was criminally squandered here. But bloody hell folks on this thread- it still beats the tar(Finnegan) out of any sodding Voyager....

Pretty good concept mostly well handled, but bloody hell- tecnobabble overkill ahoy!

Maybe Worf should've just left a box of milk tray in the camp then buggered off, considering that gear he was wearing....
