Re: Interstellar

Hi Jammr

Sorry man, have to disagree here. The primary feeling I got from this film was of being patronised. And it all started with that first idiotic speech from that teacher saying that moon landing was faked. The cumulative effect of:

1: Stupid Teacher
2: Intrusive Score
3: Repeated use of the same poem
4: Related to above, the lack of any subtley and just flat out expositing of the plot.
5: Misc plot/character decisions that I hated.

made me begin to hate the film by the end. And judging from my audience reaction, I dont think I was the only one. Nice visuals though.

Re: BSG S2: Scar

Its an ok episode, but try as it might (even though some of its themes are different) it certainly isn't anything like being up to the standards of "The Angriest Angel"

Re: DS9 S6: In the Pale Moonlight

In my opinion, it is the best episode of DS9. It shows what DS9 is all about, shades of grey with no easy or contrived solutions. The reason it might beat out an entry like "Duet" for example as best epsode, is that this episode has lasting ramifications, the entry of the Romulans into the war. (Although it would have been nice to see some character development of Sisko from this).
Too many other great episodes from Trek involved Time-Travel situations where the status-quo was restored at the end of the episode.
Great acting and writing alround.
