Re: VOY S7: Lineage

Hi you "Jammers",

i was so angry about B'elanna after watching this episode.

Like Tuvok with Neelix, i tolerated her. But where Tuvok had a bit of a warm spot for Neelix, i just had to suffer her because i had no choice.

But this episode really crossed the line for me when i first saw it, and now on a rewatch, i feel the need to tell the world. Thats how bad it is. :)

For all the people that are going to defend her, and im sure there will be a lot of people who liked her, just think about this one thing:

When B'elanna is angry about something someone did to her, and takes action against it. In your mind, just turn it around and think about what B'elanna would have done, when someone did this thing to herself.

She is the prime example of someone who can dish it out really well, to agitate her you just have to let slip one wrong word, make some little mistake etc.

Wich may be totally ok if she would be able to stand some criticism or opposition herself. But she is always the first one to explode after even the tiniest insult/objection.

What she tried to do to their child is nothing short of criminal and just imagining how she would have reacted, if Tom would have done a thing like this, without even discussing it with her, i arrive at an open airlock and a helmsman gasping for air.

Re: VOY S2: Lifesigns

Per chance i just rewatched this episode and somehow i was thinking about our current pandemic.

The scene in the "Bistro" where the vidian women talks about how their society avoids social gatherings to not spread the disease that is threathening her people.

Very scary, to think about how bad it would be if this would be a permanent thing.

Re: TNG S1: Haven

I really love how Picard reacts to being treated as a servant. One of the first high points of the worst season. :)

Re: TNG S1: Where No One Has Gone Before

Did someone notice this one:

When Kosinsky explains the procedure to the chief engineer, the traveller is seen in the background, looking at what Wesley is doing. Then the next shot, Kosinsky is still explaining and the Traveller stands behind him looking at the computer table in the middle of the engine room.

Just a simple continuity goof but now on my xxth rewatch i noticed this. :)

Re: DS9 S1: The Storyteller

My problem with this story is, that the bajoran villagers, appear as so backwards and stupid, i can't really suspend my disbelief that much.

They seem to assume that O'Brien, even when he just appeared in their village some days ago, has some deep knowledge or power. And as every religious fanatic they are immune to reasonable arguments.

They even send him some girls....well...

This Episode is everything i hate about the bajoran people and their "religion".
