Re: TNG S2: Up the Long Ladder

I don't care how ya'll feel about this episode, I like it. Just above me Ari Paul says Riker "murdered" -- NO, would you want some "crazy" stealing your cells and cloning them? I would not. They were not "people" -- it is not murder.

It is now all those years later and we all know so much more about INSANE people......The man that took these people into the universe to go back to the before Christ era's only wanted to play God. LIKE JIM JONES. ** Spinning wheels? Would you ladies want to go back to that? Not me. What all that means is that he wanted to rule a crowd of humans and have sex with countless women and little girls just like JIM JONES. Naturally, the guy died as did all the forebears of what was left of the colony. The other colony? Just imitations of humans. Who cares.

Viewer's don't realize that every one of these people has stagnated. They listened to a crazy man and went into space for the wrong reasons. They were already stupid so I wonder how any one of them could learn to fly a ship?

As for Riker getting it on with Brenna, these people would have a lot of diseases whereas the Enterprise crew would be sterile of disease ...... they would have run out of medicines two centuries ago. They were uneducated so they would not be able to exist any other way than to recede back into cave-man-style living. Pitiful.

As for all the crap about telling women to have multiple sexual partners, that is exactly what happened after the worst of the European plague came to pass...the DNA had to be diversified so offspring would not be GAGA down the future.....you see, most of the people had children with their own kinsmen, forget marriage. Think about it. THAT IS WHY WE ALL HAVE A TWIN SOMEWHERE ON THIS EARTH!!

The writers are not stupid, they are well educated, learned men and women. If that were so, they would not be writing for t.v. or movies.

The Samarian Snare came before, I like it too. The Pakled's are funny as whatever.

Must add this because I am not going to go to those episodes and comment. It is a farce that Earth only has two doctor's who can do successful surgery on critical patients. When Worf injured his spine...the doc brought in could not fullfil the job. Crusher had to spring into action and do it. Wait!, Picard is near death and Pulaski is rushed over to wherever to save his life. That man (doctor) should have been kicked out of the medical service. Back to Crusher, Beverly berated the lady doc so much and made countless threats so it is no wonder she could not FIX Worf. AND! Crusher was against this kind of surgery to begin with!

Re: TNG S5: Conundrum

Gotta do the end first: think this, one of the comical XENA eps when Xena was laughing about some antic....HO HO HO AHH HAH etc., don't remember which one it was......that is what you should all do when viewing Ro and Riker in one another's clutches even though they actually hate each other. I truly enjoyed that and even more so when they found out what they did during their idiocy moments. Once again, it was due to the way they disliked each other.

No way that Troi would ever be capable of beating Data at chess or any other game or whatever. That is malarky.

As for Guinan, I believe Whoopi Goldberg had already left TNG. Not sure of that but I am not going to look it up.

SOOOO. McDuff is just a duff/crap, If he had so much ability to rip our guys apart AND disable Data too, why could he have not build viable ships and weapons and go kill off the Lysian's in the first place, hmmmmmmmm? The Lysian's were not bothering him or his people?, it was him alone desiring to be a Klingon and Romulon rolled into one to always be at war and destroy. He had a Hitler complex.

TROI AND RIKER HAVE NOT BEEN A LIVE-IN COUPLE FOR EONS. At the time when they would up on the Enterprise they did not have a desire to return to the "lover" state. Would any one of you people go back to a relationship that ended 5 to 10 years ago? If you DID it would prove that you are still a child. It would be unwise as you are a different person today........

Without naming each thing, it is clear that these people were left with selective memories and that makes no sense at all. It can only be done if a person is conscience of what he or she is thinking of doing.

Re: TNG S6: True Q

First of all,,,,,,,Amanda grew up on Earth with human beings for parents never having known her own true parents. Her powers would have been so recessed that nothing would have awakened them. Let's say this. suddenly she did a miracle: ha ha, somebody would have scooted her to the nearest doctor for help!!

I hated this ep and I have never liked John deLancie from the moment I first saw him on t.v. in the 1960's. When I saw him show up on TNG the pilot ep .....Farpoint......I was aggravated.........

As for Amanda, the scenes where she decides she can become Riker's whatever buddy is disgusting. As for scoring the eps, my day for that thing is way past. However, I give it a 0. Maybe 00.

Re: VOY S6: Pathfinder

This ep just slapped my face warped because Troi and Barclay? --there is no hope for either of them.

Barclay is worse than ever; but when he was on TNG I didn't hate him. Now I do. No military on earth would allow such a person with his warped mind to remain forever as an "anything". Troi? Yeah. they probably would keep her ...... because they think she's great.

See, on TNG he had the crew of the Enterprise as the school yard bullies to beat him up on his way to play on the holodeck.

Actuallllly, there is no way Barclay could ever clear his mind enough to figure out a way to give the Voyager crew a "shortcut" back to the Alpha Quadrant. It's sad that the writers were stupid enough to write him insane. That's no doubt what they all "did" in their writer's room, or rooms. Barclay just had to be carbon copies of themselves.

Seems someone or someones needed a paycheck that week.

Re: TNG S7: Dark Page

Ridiculous ep. I did not feel sorry Lwaxana and all blustering over the years to make everyone around her feel like dirt. Always insulting. Always screaming for Deanna to marry, well sir, Deanna has a career.

Why would any planet put a person like Lwaxana in charge of representing the planet? She is a disgrace.

5-1-19// As for me, I kept hoping for the best. Telek would never have been able to send Starfleet a message ever. He was tiptoeing about the entire because The Romulons spy on one another 100% of the time. If someone saw the activity on his console, he would have been killed then and there.

I sort of liked him and sort of felt sorry for him.

As for Kes, sticking up for the doctor belies what she did to him later on by messing with his program and making him sick!!!!

Re: VOY S1: Ex Post Facto

May 1, 2019----Just saw this ep on t.v. and it is still ridiculous. Paris is the typical earthling male, STICK to any bimbo on any planet just the way Kirk did. He was so bored that he had to get it off with a - as someone else said - bird female. I always wondered what those creatures were suppose to be.

Back to bimboing, if Paris tried to come one to me, I'd kick him where it would definitely hurt.

I found this ep lacking back in the day as a new feature, I still don't like it.

As far as the secret message on Paris's brain, well, that is pretty lame. I have agree with many of the commenters.

Re: TOS S3: And the Children Shall Lead

Yep, it is pretty bad. But I have seen worse. As far a Spock's Brain, I like it. And let me tell you this, it was not until about three years ago that I began to laugh out loud at the dialog and expressions on Nimoy's face when he is beamed down to the ice planet....

After the theft of brain, it is a scream watching Shatner and Kelley talk about the loss. ...we will look for his brain; ......where(?) ...would we look? I would love to know how hard these guys laughed during filming. This proves that proper studying of the craft one can control one's own actions. They were very serious during this dialog......

As for the swords, know this, George said in several interviews that he did not play with swords, he played cowboys and Indians. He was an American history buff. So, when he chased crewmen in THE NAKED TIME with an epee, it was out of his realm. He didn't do karate or any of the other martial arts; therefore he had to learn them.

The old and ugly. My God, we have no choice, on our trip to death it will happen. I found that ridiculous.

Melvin Belli wanted to be on Star Trek and so they let him. It was fun for him. He was one of the TOP attorney's in California at that time and served the rich and famous and many Hollywood stars.

As for those hateful children, all spoiled brats who were probably offspring of the people who ran Star Trek just the same as it was in Miri. Only in Miri there were 3 kids who were real actors. In fact, one was a grown man.

As for the story line, it was awful. I always hated to see the top crew put into being total idiots; everyone falling into coma-like stupors; I would love to kill the kids, esp. the red-headed brat from hell. There really was much of a story.

Doc McCoy and his they need to grieve crap. If a child never grieved over a dead person, he would not become a killer. He would grow out of it.
You have to consider the people writing, producing and such, which is their true nationalities, ------- the way Trek people live is some misguided jerks dream. Earth human beings will never be like that because of where we came from. Do research and learn because humans had to have their freedom for thousands of years before any of them became what we are today.

As for the jumpsuits, think long underwear......go to DEVIL IN THE DARK......those were long underwear and they did not fit properly.

Canadian television producers were guilty of the same crappy clip show junk BECAUSE WE DONE RUN OUTTA MONEY AND CAINT DO NO BETTER. All thru the years of tv clipping it out for the summer vacation was the norm. I reckon the viewing audience had more mature watchers who wrote in and said we ainta gonna tak it no more. Re: TNG S2: The Schizoid Man

OMG! Graves is MORN!

What I can say about this ep is, I knew right away that something was wrong with Data when he came out of the room where dead Graves was. This ep was not funny, it was a pathetic way to use android Data in such a way. Graves had to be insane to cook up the IDEA of becoming Data in order to finger a young human girl. THAT IS WHAT IT WAS ABOUT.

Most old men would not hold back, they would simply say Kareen, I love you, etc. and so on, will you marry me. Who knows, she might have said yes. They worked together for years.

Yep, Rachel, Data ought to have keep out switch to prevent the any one from tampering with him. BUT, remember how Dr. Crusher and Geordi screwed him up so he could not prevent them from ooooh and aaahing while wearing those game glasses in The Game? Soong never really thought ahead. He was selfish.

Since I might never get to IN THEORY, that woman wanted a man to sit and hold her hand day in and out and always pamper her. When it didn't work out, she ran. OK>>>>>>Data wrote a program for her. All she could do in the end was boo hoo that he had no human feelings. My God almighty and @%$&()^$%%^ he was a ROBOT of sorts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why in the %^))##@ was she in Starfleet? She had absolutely no brains to work in space and repair the ship. That is the problem with a lot of the characters in the Trek universes. Do any one of you guys or girls think you would be chosen for a space journey[? ] if you were brainless looking for mr good bar crap brains?

Stop dissing Wesley. If anyone has a brainy child they are always proud of them. Would you murder your child if it had an IQ of 550? I wouldn't.

Re: TOS S1: The Man Trap

Answer to order of TOS: they were shown out of order because when an ep was suppose to be due to run, it wasn't ready. Things were diff back then and the crews were learning to make stuff up because it did not exist. You can see in the first 13 eps how it was by the uniforms worn. Where No Man Has Gone Before was #1.

That salt monster scared the heck out of me for years. I could not look at it for years on top of years. Now let us get real, this saltsucker was the only one left because IT sucked all its family dry of salt when none [salt] was left on the planet. Whew. It was just greedy. Walking around the ship as other people it sucked its closed fist at the thumb.

Get a load of Kirk shouting down McCoy's throat about his lost love. No one ever shouted or made fun of Kirk and his lost loves that appeared from nowhere and that robot from Methuselah that he fell in love with. Spock showed pity and took the memory while Kirk slept. Kirk was jealous of other men having romances.

The lies told about the buffalo are just that, lies. During the '60's scientists were killing themselves to bring the buffalo back into a reasonable existence because the white man had nearly wiped them out once they hit the western USA. Real mindless.

No, no, no. Crater did not think Starfleet would send anyone to kill saltsucker, he knew the thing could shapeshift; that is how it got to Nancy and killed her and he no doubt had sex with the damn creature as Nancy. Oh, his nancy .... no man would boo hoo over his woman after being with her that many years. Nor would McCoy bawl like baby because he left her behind. McCoy had been married several times with bad experiences. He was not going to marry any woman again.

And, why in God's name would 2 people be sent beyond space and time, so far away, to dig in dirt? No shuttles. Have to wait a century for food. That planet was arid, there wouldn't be anyway a tomato or an ear of corn could grow there. Think about that one.

for Navamske may 29, '16:::::::
"The shuttlecrafts won't be here until Tuesday."
Yeah, Baby [like Mike Myers with funny teeth] that first shuttle really did not get in from Arizona for the episode so guess what? Gene Roddenberry invented beaming on the spot. Everybody hollers, 'what!' Yeah, beaming, transporters, that's the ticket [Jon Lovitz] And my dears, that how transporters came to be.

Yes, Jim, you are right, it was mind control, not shapeshiting. I am sorry.

Cloudane" The Cage had problems. A woman was #1. Jeffrey {i can't spell} Hunter who played Jesus was the captain, and various directors and producers despised the doctor in real life and other trash. It never got shown until Roddenberry made The Menagerie [or the cage].

Mr. gorgeous Hunter was old by the time he got this role and was married for the umpteenth time to a very young girl. They said she would stand around directing every body on how to film Jeffie. Holding his head one way and then 'tother. Can't film this side of his face cause he don't like that side of his face to be filmed. I truly do not remember how much time passed after this but Jeffrey it was reported was changing a light bulb at home, standing on a chair when he fell off and was killed. In the past few years I read on the net that his wife was really hateful to him and could have gotten angry enogh to do him in. Blank happens when little girls think marrying old me will get them DIMUNT RINGS AND MINK COATS. In the '50's and '60's before PETA, these 2 things are what 95% of the girls in hi school wanted. They would steal and did steal to get MINK, a real MINK. I knew one who embezzled the bank she worked in to get her mink and her cotton mill mama was so proud. No, never caught even when the State bank auditors came in to find out why so many mops and brooms were being bought because there were no mops or brooms at the bank. Hell, she was the one who signed the tickets! Servicers brought their own equipment when they came in at night to clean.

I am glad to see Farscape mentioned. Yep, Ben Browder's wife played the bone eater. Scopius takes her aboard his ship and she gets to eat her fill of bones. We don't see that, though. But men are disappearing though. It was BONE TO BE WILD. I just loved their titles and I watch Farscape when I go to bed. I know it all.

Can't stand it any longer. Where no man has gone....no one liked the doctor in this ep either and when the green light was lighted, get someone else to play the doctor....You know, there is so much hatred among the people in hollywood it is a wonder any person ever got a job. DeForest was brought in.

Re: VOY S7: Human Error

First of all, Braga probably decided Seven should nip- romance-in- bud as she is his girl and she might run off with Beltran eventho he probably had a family in real life ....got it? [sneer, sneer] It's called jealousy, people.

The Doc is a hologram, Tom is married, Kim is too young eventho he would loved to have embraced Seven and being young is another reason for him to hug her, kiss her,oh, yes, Tuvok is Vulcan, out of the question!, nobody else; got to be Chakotay. WORKS FOR ME!

I think Beltran did a sweet job in Human, and he was not nearly as stiff.....

As for dying people in Endgame. We never saw these deaths. They were words on pages for actors to speak and words for us viewers to hear. Did not take it to heart.

Endgame, did not really like it, what I did like was the borg queen shattering like a China doll in semi-slo-motion. Hurrah! At last!

Does anyone know if Jeri Ryan played the piano. I loved the music, it was haunting. Personally to all who read here, I want the theme - First Contact
[trek] played at my funeral, along with the one from Lord of the Rings with Frodo and the Elves sailing away and this one here I could add in a minute if the entire music stays beautiful. This is what a brain infarct does to a person, one cannot hold info from word to word.

Kate Mulgrew spoke to Jeri very nasty too. What ya' doin'!.........

Star Trek people do eat some weird eggs, don't they? The only eggs I eat come from Rhode Island Red Hens, White Hens, and I might eat a Dominecker chicken egg cause they are domestic girls and I have been close them when I was young.

Was the Torres actress feeling left out? Engine grease on her hair? No wonder she is so mean. She hates Seven too. Did ya' gitta load that there ugly look Roxanne laid on Jeri when Seven gives Torres the box with the baby shoes? Did you hear the Roxanne retort. A snap you up ... ... Someone had some issues with some one. All these people seemed to have a problem with Jeri in this ep. that day.

Natch, everyone had to have a word or two.....just like when Data, I think it was, ran to everyone for advice?.......or whoever. Somebody anyway. About something. Ok, Odo did make the rounds in this manner in His Way, but someone on TNG did too.

The dialog in this ep really sucks, even today in 2018. LOL. Just saw it on tv tonight.

Barclay? Poor guy. Everybody hated his guts because he was too intelligent so they all goaded him including Picard. If they hated him so much, why didn't Picard transfer him to a star base and a let him wait for a ship blah, blah? Barclay knew he was hated and that hurt his performance on the ship. A very good actor in every role he played outside Star Trek.

Let's talk Mulgrew. TV GUIDE MOSTLY. She was chosen at the eleventh hour for her role of Janeway. She gets to the set and it was written that the director [look it up] no name here, and he pulled her aside and then off the set and when they returned her hair was a mess. Years later I have learned that they knew one another years before. Hair mess had nothing to do with the ship landing in the Delta Quadrant.....we all know people do not necessarily get mussed up in trek wrecks. Comments went on forever!

Kate is 9 or 10 years younger than myself so grew up in the 1950's while I was winding up my high school career. She reminded me of snobs I had to go to school with all my life and she has not changed her attitude. Check her out on the net and find out a no-no that happened to her when she was in college. Another thing is that Kate Mulgrew forgets that she is not a young actress any more. This is not Shatner and TOS where he demanded every body else to give up their words to him. It has been said he got paid by the word and he would count all his words and if there was not enough for HIS pay check, he'd say Uhura doesn't need to say that, I'll say that. He boldly snatched Leonard Nimoy's words and denied he did it. Nimoy told him to his face on television that he did do it. No one was 'freinds' with Shatner on the set or off. No one liked him. Scotty actor said,"he is not a nice man."

Re: TOS S2: The Immunity Syndrome

Over the many years that TOS has run I usually recommend to myself not to watch this one. However, tonight I am allowing it to play thru because I am waiting on DS9 and 7.2 Shadows and Symbols and I don't want to miss that one. I have my reasons.

Firstly, I reject the title of amoeba for this thing and call it A BLOOD CLOT. This thing is outside the ship and I would like an answer: How can it pull human energy out of humans who are enclosed in a metal can? The human beings would die if their "energy" was "pulled" out of their bodies. The Vulcan's died and were absorbed.

Yes, oh, yes, give commendations to all but how will Starfleet find the "black box"? The blood clot will have eaten the ship too. It must have eaten the Vulcan ship since no one saw the ship. It absorbed the Vulcan's, n'es cest pas?

Did I spell that right? Haven't written it since 1975.

To be purely honest, I never let myself think of the writing in these or any other programs since the understanding of those dialogs would cause me to be "turned" off and not watch anything on tv. Not because I am so smart, etc., but because I would be irritated to death if I knew and so on and on........

TNG's The Chase is on and that old jerk-wad just died. Don't get me started about the foolishness of allowing an old man to travel in the universe on a shuttle all by himself. Nasa [and doctor's and probably the government] never let our astronauts make repeat trips into space. Guess why. Look it up you don't know why.

If I was going to score this ep., I'd give it a zero because it is stupid. The writing did get better when TNG came along. The actors acted like they were on a mission and no one quarreled at anyone else the way McCoy bashed Spock. Granted, TNG's crew persons could go off the deep end screaming in fear...............let me explain it again, going into space requires years of training. If you decided to get angry and dash out the door to cool off ------- guess what? Open the door and fall into vacuum.

Re: DS9 S6: Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night

The Prophets, huh. What happened to God? I wouldn't follow a Prophet, those kinds are just a bunch of Moonies, Jim Jonese, damn I can't recall all the crap names but you get the idea, don't you

Meru was snatched from her family. Kira was blind not to see that AND she went right along when they snatched her, too. [roll eyes to the ceiling] What is her excuse? Is she a callaborator? If Meru had attacked Dukat she would have been killed and Kira would probably have died very young of starvation. It was not Meru's fault!!!!!!! Damn it!!

Bajor's so called religion is a farce, satire, a pile., something for the superstitious idiots that Bajorans are, to follow blindly. Any group of people that cannot see what a tyrant, murderous piece of dung WINN is and votes her in as the Pope of the world are best left to the Cardies to pillage for an eternity! I stopped feeling sorry for them. That Accession crap. What a joke! Some old man shows up a billion years late and Bajies love him and want him. Yeah, yeah, he is so correct let's follow him now. The Bajorans fall right in line with that dictatorship. Oh, damn, Kira went on with it. Making her little whop sided birds..... got to follow him, he's the wonderful emissary. Is that all they want to look forward to?

I think Kira was only suppose to observe. Just look at what Dukat claimed. What does Kira do? Begins to plot murder.

Bajor has nothing to offer The Federation. Whatever fool thought they did deserves to be kicked in the ass. Why the Federation doesn't just pull out is beyond me.

Tonight, Sept 23, 2018, IMAGE IN THE SAND is going to begin the 7th season on H AND I and Sisko is going to begin running the gamut to find that orb, again [in reruns]. What are the Prophets going to offer him? You are gonnna die as soon as you bring us that orb. The fact is, his prophet ma kills him [Ben] in the end. What a load of bummer whatever.

I could not believe the crap of old man Sisko keeping the secret of Bens's birth! F that! Mr. Sisko is a dope anyway. I really mean that the writers write him as a dope. All he thinks of is the foolishness he carries on with in his restaurant. Earth improvement in 3 to 4 centuries did nothing for him. He still works for a living.

Bajorans had no opportunity to become educated or seek education off planet......Nazis don't let you go to school! Yet they are accomplished in every field, medicine, electronics, flying space ships, you name it. When did they learn? The Prophets certainly did not teach them. Oh, maybe they sat in the bushes and learned telepathically! Huh,hmm?

Yep, the father lied to the kids and made them believe mom was just over the hill fighting, I guess for freedom. Reminds me of a Xena ep. A warlord comes upon our brave friends and attacks them. During the fight the warlord runs into Joxer's sword and dies. Stupid Joxer ... all in all.... whiningly wants to travel beyond space and time and apologize to the man's son who is in a wealthy private school. It happens, but they all decide not to tell said son because he has been told by his old nurse that his dad is wonderful, his dad helps the hungry, the starving, the war torn refuges, and a lot of other malarkey.......the guy follows our friends and overhears that Joxer killed his saintly father. How dare he. Grrrrrrrr! I'm gonna kill Joxer!!!!!!! The truth is told to him and it is proven to him. Takes a bit but he calms down. He then joins up with our group and wanders around with them for a while.

If Dukat had come at me with all his douchbag full of filth, I'd have pulled out my hidden phaser and shot him where it hurt. It made sick whenever he went after Kira in that way in all the eps he did it in. It makes me sick every time they write Dukat shakiing his twig at Kira, saying doncha want it, baby.

Goody, goooooood, I got my answer now as to why Nana always looked so put upon.........IRA STEVEN BEHR!!!! He is the one, an old grizzled bear that keeps punishing women for not sexing it up with him. I wouldn't sleep with Dukat either. See the above paragraph. I knew she was being punished. Sid is her husband in real life and he is pissed too.

As for having to sit on that nasty Cardies lap?, hell no,I would have poured my drink on his you know where and I would have made certain that it was blistering hot. Then he could do his Dukat giant thorn up his ass dance but with a hot drink.

It is rape, Kirk style, only Kirk was never nice to women. Star Trek writers love to demean the women so as they can whip 'em into shape if you want a role in my show you gonna.

Most of these commenters as saying Meru volunteered. She did not. She was dragged off. Watch the ep again.

I DO NOT see orb-looking as time travel. One opens the orb that one needs to see into and it shows one blah, blah, such as when Bariel had Kira look into the orb-of-I-want-to-get-in-your-pants-really-bad,-yeah,-really bad. And she lied.

Ok, so Kira tells Sisko it's family, get a grip people, the writers wrote confliction on Kira's part. No one would say that. That is backing down to how you really felt about the whole thing. It was the food and "Nerys musta gained 5 lb"....and Meru weeps. Then Kira stops.....

Re: Star Trek: The Motion Picture

Gonna start movie any minute and comment as I go. I always hated this movie. It was so stupid. McCoy and his crabbieness-----he would be a deterrant in space because ill-tempered people would not be capable of handling the claustrophobic travel. McCoy fought with everyone in TOS, esp. with Spock because Spock WUZ a alyen after Jim's command.

And oh wowsie Ilia is only on the ship for sex with all the men cause all the women on her planet just f--k it up all day long!!! Why they can't have that on the Enterprise.
Ohhhhhh yeahhhhhhhh, Kirk porked [Throw Mama From the Train] every woman in every episode in the 1960's but one; he raped Elaan to show her and teach her that the male penis is God and it teaches women respect for men.

Where did that come from? Remember the young lady who cut off her hubby's thing for raping her? I went home from work the day the trial was ending and the prosecutor was a fat old bastard shouting and glaring at that little lady, how the manhood controlled the woman and she couldn't understand it all.......I wanted to thrust my fist through that t.v. screen and kill that old f--t! She was found not guilty. Thank you Jesus almighty!

That is what Kirk did to those women. Even Elaan did not deserve that treatment and I don't watch that ep if I can help it. It is disgusting. In case you need reminding, Kirk brazenly opened another man's gift and that is something Picard would not do!

I did like the improvement of the Klingon's. A language was created for them.

LOL ha haha ho ho and so on------the sex satellite from Lexx's 2.6 Stans' Trial !!!!!!!
I rekkin I ain't seen this movie since 'fore Lexx aired on Sci-Fi. It has been a long time.

Spock is unkempt. I do not believe Spock would let himself go like that.

About the comment on Ilia, seems somebody took out the sexist material. I do know that in 1979 and several years on that Ilia was referred to in that manner.

McCoy's beard is awful.

I had planned to say more but it is just too agonizing to fool with at this time.

Re: DS9 S6: His Way

Yeah! I truly, really loved these comments tonight! Where to start?

Soooooo, if Odo loosens up, his bucket better be nearby him otherwise,,,,,,,,,,,SPLAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so funny unless you are feeling sad for Odo at the moment. I could not look at Kira and Odo making out because ..... just think, if Odo could have an orgasm....hmmmmm, Kira could drown. AnnnnnnnnD, Data and Yar in the Naked Now, he could smash her flatter than a crepe. What is he gonna do? Wow, Father would be proud of me. Get real.

Several references were made to Children Of Time. Personally, after seeing this ep again a few days ago, my theory is that they were all melded into some kind of gaseous dream and woke up believing they really met all those people. Kira is crazy as hell wanting to die for those "people" and being angry AAAAAAAATTTTTTTT~~~ !!!
Odo for saving her. Anyone who feels that way, ought to die. Their life means nothing to them.

Nana did not like having to present herself in such way and Rene said he did feel for her, this was in T V GUIDE and on the newly made internet back in the day. I think the damn producers and others were pushing her around and punishing her for some reason concerning the politics of how they wanted the series to go. Or some other stupid, CHILDISH reason that only men can come up with when that certain body part starts to squirm.

Nana also stated that it made sick to have to touch and kiss [on] that foam rubber.

If you pay attention, the last 2 seasons of DS9 reveals a lot. Watch the actors, they can barely make it thru their lines in all the eps.

As for Vic, played by James Darren. He is a couple of years older than me and in the '50 and 60's he was coming into his own acting, singing career. Back then all the young want to b's in entertainment kids were made to record records and become BIG stars!!!!! whether they could sing or not. We had Frankie Avalon, ok, all the money hungry agents I guess it was wanted all their little want to be's to sing and make the agents and record companies rich. Hey! Frankie could actually sing. One record here or there and those kids were gone. Darren did a lot of acting gigs and he was good at it. But to put this wanna be Frank Sinatra that is someone else's dream inside Star Trek was a brick slung in my face. Nobody talked the way they have Darren talking back then. I never heard Sinatra talk that way either. BUT, James Darren has to live just like we have to live and I don't blame him for taking this role since he acts and sings. He needs money, do any of us swing thru the trees looking for our din-din on a daily basis. Hmmmmmh?

The music. I listened to that music when I was a baby and all thru the years until the 70's when it was wiped out by all the crap that came to be. However, I don't want to listen to it any more. That was then, this is now. The jerk that came up with this shit does not have life, even today, I guarantee.

Nana aced FEVER. Lemesee now, singing it to Odo was crap. Sad, should not have been done. Going much too far since the actors, esp., Nana, are not up for it. Hey, it would have worked great with Dax and Worf because these 2 actors play off each other like nobody's business.

Rose McGowan did Fever on a Charmed ep for a boyfriend and Rose was great.

NO ONE ON EARTH CAN EVER OUT DO PEGGY LEE WITH FEVER!!!!! NO ONE COULD TOUCH HER STYLE!!!!!

Have to go now.

Re: DS9 S3: Distant Voices

This ep makes want to bawl like a baby. I absolutely hurt for Bashir and I want to pull him out of the coma myself. He becomes old, old and crawling for his life and I hurt even more for him.

That horrible alien is just so ugly I have hard time looking at him. And to mention that the mold makers can really numbers around the mouths, esp. the one where there is VERTICAL STRIP OVER THE MOUTH!!!!!.......how do these guys eat? Probably don't.

Everyone makes comments and I agree with Jammer's so I don't see a reason for me to say all the same things over and over. I watch any program for entertainment value and to learn. There are so many things in the Star Trek universe to learn from and then go get a book and study them.

Re: DS9 S3: Visionary

I find VISIONARY very difficult to understand. If any of you guys are fans of FARSCAPE you will know Crichton was struck by a 'piece' of a singularity in an alien ship and he travelled BACK AND BACK AND BACK TO THE FUTURE for the entire ep. A person connected with this series once made a comment that Star Trek had a similiar episode. Pardon me, Visionary is nowhere like Farscpe's story. It was done in Australia by Australian writers and you could not ask for better writing. >>>>>> Paramount writers always have to make their stories difficult and as unsmooth as they can.

It has been about 2 years since my cable people have put H and I on their schedule and all 5 of the Star Trek series run every night. ST:Tos is only one of the 5 I had seen on a regular basis, etc. DS9 AND VOYAGER I had not seen for 10 years or more since they were not run in my area. I would buy DS9 if wasn't so darned expensive. Voyager, well I only like about 10 of the eps and I love the Borg eps esp. with Jeri Ryan. She is a wonderful actress. Too add on, I finally gave in and bought the dvd pkgs of TOS BUT I have a few of TOS on VHS from the past. They were so expensive I could not afford them. I did spend over $30.00 buying THE CAGE.
HERE IS WHAT I GOT:::::some color and a bunch of black and white where the whoever it was picked up the pieces and glued them to the damn film strip.......some parts have no speech at all because the speaking parts were snipped out and thrown away back in the day [1960's]. Of course, back in day those people had no idea that Star Trek would go on living thru the years.

Anyway, I think that Sisko should have shot the Romulons out of 'sky' and stars once the Romulons took off from the station. They were nasty to everyone. Yeah, they should go thru the worm hole and look up the changelings!!

I did not like it that Miies had to die and be replaced with a future O'Brien. Best to leave that alone because Keiko and Molly would never understand. No one would understand.

Re: TOS S3: Turnabout Intruder

This ep is awful. It proves how little men thought of women.
They believed women were only good for one thing. Hence, the revealing outfits, only the big busted girls were hired, and they had to show what they had.

As a rule, females did not run around with everything hanging out, the boys wanted to look up skirts and such filth, not like today. We had to be clean and protect ourselves or be branded. There was free sex as it was called, but it was not advertised.

You people don't understand the past. Women were treated as inferior dumb clucks. The male animal believed that a woman should be IN THE KITCHEN, BAREFOOT, AND PREGNANT their entire lives. I was there. However, I was not one of the gooses that laid around and obeyed sexist males!!!!!!! Screw them all!!

I still think that way and I am 76 years old. I don't need men.

Roddenberry was a womanizer with that old-fashioned kick a female around but when he got Majel in his hooks, she did not unhook and slip into the darkness of a liquor bottle. She stayed because in those days, you F..K me, you marry me. It was not like today. In those days the girl did not suck off the boys cause "it ain't sex, you slut".

Shatner's first wife divorced him due his not keeping it in his pants and he was zokcd;xx@((( a young dancer at the studio. In his first book he stated that he did not want the divorce. I can't remember the Scotty actor's name off hand, but on one of discs in the TOS eps he discusses Shatner, and he says......."he is not a nice man...". The entire main cast felt that way because I listened to many interviews with them while Shatner was discussed during the Star Trek cast interviews.

Re: DS9 S5: The Assignment

POINTLESS!!!!!!!! A pah-wraith grabs Keiko .... so why didn't one grab Kai Winn in the last ep of series??????

It is no wonder that Keiko got grabbed, she is a hateful character and she was the same way in TNG. Rosalind plays the "bitch" very well. I always feel sorry for O'Brien because he should not married Keiko as they are not suited for each other. I guess he likes misery and being shamed in public.

Poor Rom. I cringe every time he is on because he is abused so badly. I'll never understand why those sh*t writers wrote him to be the "oh yeah, come stomp my face off" type......

I would hate to be an actress and the only job I could qualify for would be Keiko and Rom where I would be the fool of the night broadcast.

The first time I saw Max G. he was a magical character that turned into a bird and flew away in SLIDERS.

Re: TNG S1: Code of Honor

This is another sorry ep. If I had been the lady-scorned, I'd have sent Lutan to the slave market in order to teach his big, fat self a lesson in loyalty!!

I found this piece of crap to be insulting to both white and black people.

Speaking of Yar, the way she treated so far in the series of TNG, could have been the reason she wanted out of the damn thing and place. Denise was probably treated badly on the set and around the studio. Of course, Sirtis could have done any number of things to be ugly to the Yar character as she had been invited by Majel Roddenberry to live with them since she was in the USA all alone and broke by the time she landed the role of Troi. It is very easy to spot how people are treated by watching the expressions whoever they have to play off in scenes. Try it if you don't believe me. As a matter of fact, I never liked Sirtis, she is not a good actress and until a couple of years I could not figure out her heritage.....she is Greek. But she doesn't actually look Greek. She is probably Jewish-Greek which is what you HAVE to be in Hollywood if you want to be an actor.

Take that as racist if you want to but you will be making mistake to think that way because the truth is the truth.

Re: TNG S1: The Naked Now

I Hate this ep! Not one actor was up to par in their acting in this ridiculous story. Drunk people do not act like these actors who were all trying to act drunk. Can you imagine having sex with a robot? Data probably weighs two thousands pounds at that and I think in some ep they tell his weight along with other details.

I just read a tidbit about the Yar character yesterday and there was a person who did not know why Denise left the series. She and Roddenberry both said she wanted to do movies. She was offered a part and took it in PET SEMETARY and she did a few more movies that were forgettable. She made the rounds on various t.v. shows and so on. But when she was on talk shows she would always tell how she was the illegitimate daughter of one of Bing Crosby's sons of which I no longer recall his name. That sort of thing could ruin a person as far as the Hollywood crowd goes. Shove it down the throats of those who don't like you. Gene R himself sheepishly said he wished he had not let her go and he said the same thing about Grace Lee Whitney who by the way died in 2015.

Let me add this piece: In the same area where I found the above (Yar) I also found this about Jennifer Lien (Kes)....someone in the know said that Jerry Taylor who is the mother of Alexander Enberg (Vorik) approached Jennifer to date her son (Enberg) and Jennifer would not do it. That took place just before her final ep, the Gift. >> And Enberg, in his early forties, had a stroke and was in a coma for a short while.

Back to NAKED NOW. TOS'S Scotty actor did not like this episode either. He said how he and others figured TNG would not make it and guess what(?)... way down the line he appears on the show and has to be "beaten" up mentally by Geordi LaForge! That makes me angry enough to bite nails in half every time I watch it. For a long while I hated Geordi. He was very overblown egotistically and it showed.

Re: TOS S2: Amok Time

Spock got over his Pon Farr because he cares about Kirk whether he states it or not. I say the shock of seeing your captain and best friend dead in your hand would shock any guy ready to fornicate, ask any guy what happens if he gets scared.

The lovely Arlene Martell / T'Pring also starred in the 1960's Outer Limits: Demon With A Glass Hand.

Spock should have tried to be kinder to Nurse Chapel and she did confess to him that she loved him in The Naked Time and Plato's Stepchildren.
