Re: BSG S4: The Road Less Traveled
This episode was quite enjoyable on a rewatch, knowing I had its companion Faith to watch immediately after. On the first run through I found it tedious and repetitive. It had really felt like the material for one episode had been stretched over two and that for the last few episodes, for all the interesting discussion of issues facing the characters, no actual plot progress was being made. Much like my feelings towards the slow so-so mid point of the the third season, a DVD rewatch let me enjoy this episode. I agree with Jammer's ponts, although I would still hesitate to give it more than 3 stars.

Re: BSG S4: He That Believeth in Me
Actually I find the warmth in BSG in the small things. Adama reading that novel to Rosalin was extremely touching... all the subtle little interplay between them makes me grin. Even Baltar shows flashes of kindless. It's all vey human to me...

Re: BSG S3: Exodus, Part 2
From from a viseral, action point of view this is my favourite episode of the series.
From the tense decoy scene to the insane in-atmosphere jump to launch the vipers and finally the four basestars on one battlestar pounding. I seriously thought this would be the end of the Galactica, and the show would move on to Pegasus; quite ridiculous and unprecidented really, but for a moment I genuinely believed it. The pull away shot of Galactica seemingly going down followed by Pegasus charging in to save the day is the most satisfying action shot of the whole series run. Completely took my breath away.

Re: BSG S2: Resurrection Ship, Part 2
Fantastic episode.
Just a small point however. I too was stumped at how two battlestars could go toe to toe with two basestars and defeat them with such relative ease until I looked back into the series. In "Flight of the Phoenix" a large force of Cylon raiders is completely destroyed. Presumably these raiders originated from the fleet assaulted in this episode. Without a fighter screen the base stars could conceivably be taken out without much hassle.
My only problem with the episode is the convenient dispatch of Cain by Six to tie up the plot. However, with the reveal of their past involvement in "Razor" it feels a bit more appropiate and complete as a whole.
