Re: TOS S1: Court Martial
This episode is one of the first that really made me love Kirk as a captain. I love when Spock says he's bitter, and Kirk says "that may be. But not bitter enough not to thank you for your efforts." That line, along with McCoy and Spock's testimony to Kirk's character, really made me feel for him. I thought Shatner's performance here was pretty good too! And it was fun to see Elisha Cook, Jr., who I know from the excellent Humphrey Bogart film The Big Sleep.

Re: BSG S2: Lay Down Your Burdens, Part 2
One thing that I didn't like about the election plot line was the notion that Roslin's and Tigh's plan would actually work if the election results were given even the slightest bit of scrutiny. The ballots from one ship being so lopsided would certainly raise the question, "why?", and on a ship with only a few thousand voters it would quickly become apparent through word of mouth that something wasn't right. Its a minor issue in the grand scheme, but it does mar the efforts to make the election process realistic.

Re: DS9 S6: Sacrifice of Angels
I really didn't like the "disappearing" Dominion fleet solution to this episode. For one thing, Weyoun and the Founder seemed to take the whole situation pretty much in stride, like they expected this was a possibility. Only Dukat seemed reasonably confused and distressed by that turn of events, but its not even clear from his perspective what in the world has gone wrong. Yet he didn't even question what exactly had gone wrong. I agree with Jammer's first take-- it very deus ex machina.
I think it would have been better if the wormhole aliens had simply agreed to close the wormhole (perhaps expelling the ships to their respective quadrants)instead of seemingly vaporizing thousands of lives with no particular qualms about it.

That food that Miles and Julian were about to eat at Quark's looked awesome!
